Hello Everyone!

Thanks for checking out our blog! I am so excited to get started with this blog because we are currently living so far from home. We are living in Fort St. John, British Columbia Canada so I thought that this would be a great opportunity to post things about my family to keep all my friends and family posted about whats going on in our crazy lives! Enjoy! See you all real soon!

Our neighborhood

Sorry it has taken me so long to post again. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. We just got back from Idaho for my brother's farwell. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done saying goodbye to him for two years. I have never had to say goodbye to someone that close to me before. It is weird to think that Tegtan will be three when he gets home! A few days before we left there was a really big rain storm and right after it finished raining there was two beautiful rainbows. I just had to take a few pictures! For all of you who have never been to Fort St. John this is what the neighborhood looks like where we are living right now...and hope to build next April in the same neighborhood. Living in Canada does not mean that we are tenting it in the woods! Ha ha it is actually really pretty here!

Oh Canada

I thought that Idaho had strange weather. I think that Fort St. John may just have it beat! When we got here a few weeks ago the weather was pretty nice. Lately it has been raining and windy and cold. But what should I have expected? We are in Canada! HA ha well it is not as bad here as I had anticipated. I actually love the cold. Today Tegan and I went swimming at the local pool. It is a nice place for families and they have quite a few features that spray water. They have a designated time for parents and their children to come swim. The first half an hour was great but then swimming lessons started and of course they don't warn you that half way through your swim that a gazillon little monsters are going to interupt your time and take over the pool! Needless to say we left early! OH well it will be nice when summer is over and all the monsters will be in school.

So bored!

Ha ha it seems like that is how I feel everyday. I need to get out of my comfort zone and do things that i would'nt normally do. I went on a bike ride with Tegan the other day behind my in-laws house. Now this does not sound that scary but their back yard is a forest!  One of my biggest fears is getting chased by a bear and then eaten alive! Well we survived! ha ha Sometimes I can be such a baby but I think if I keep going on rides by the forest i will not get eaten and and i will become stroger!! Well I hope!
